Have you ever needed to do something, and people were depending on you to do that something, but you couldn't do it right away like you'd like to do, or really do anything about it for the time being, because you had to wait for someone else to do what THEY are supposed to do???? My recipe for defeating my very own defeatist attitude/tracking down people and wringing their necks:
*Listen to iPod REALLY LOUD and go running with dog(s).
*Clean. Anything and Everything.
*Facebook stalk interesting people.
*Read old love letters people have posted on the internet.
*Find interesting new places to take pictures around where you live.
*BAKE LIKE IT'S LIFE OR DEATH :o
*Help others :) You may not be able to do what someone is waiting on YOU to do for some reason, but you can help someone else get what they need done finished! And you feel good!
*Distract yourself with friends. Try playing "Have you met Ted?".
K. SOOOOOOOO life update -
(I promise I'll start getting better at keeping my far away friends updated, I keep forgetting my password to my account so I rarely get on)
The YSA branch - quite a few wonderful people! Being food coordinator is a blessing beyond description, and I'm getting an assistant!!!! Again!!!! I'll post who after they've been called and confirmed which won't be this week because this weekend is stake conference. [[[random side note: typing is ridiculously more difficult when you've been handicapped by a bandaid on the tip of one of your main digits]]] Now I know I'm always interested in some guy or another, or 20... But I'm not feeling the boy-crazy vibe at the moment, which is nice. I know that one or two guys in the branch think I'm cute but for one reason or another aren't interested in anything at the time. I'm so glad MJ and Clayton are coming to the branch now! It's good to have him home from his mission, even if he is still acclimating himself to the culture shock going from Peru to Texas.
Work - NEEDED. I need a job soOo bad right now, and I've been looking for soOo long that it's difficult to not get discouraged, but I have to have faith that the Lord will provide a way. I'm very recently no longer enrolled in school because of issues with payments and a problem with the firm that bought my loans... which is irritating beyond belief. So I'm uninsured until I can buy my own insurance, which I need money to do...
Family- J&S moved even further away, Kimmy moved way closer, and DJ moved OUT. Wow. Madre's friend may actually give us her house if she can't sell it by the time she moves to Cali, in which case I may be living in the house all by my lonesome till we get it fixed to rent, and that would be WAY COOL. I already know how I'd fix it up and rearrange everything. And if we don't get the other house, there's always Extreme Makeover: Home Edition :)
